Former Maharashtra minister and NCP MLA Jayant Patil today staged a protest at Vidhan Bhawan complex here against not being allowed to speak while tabling bills in the Lower House.
"Important subjects like assault on legislators and matters raised through point of propriety were brushed aside and bills tabled. I wasn't allowed to speak," Patil said.
While Patil was requesting the chair that he be allowed to speak, opposition MLAs had rushed to the well to support him.
