Fake currency seized, five arrested in Bangalore

A colour printer, laptop and related equipment used to print the fake notes have also been seized, they said.

The arrested have been identified as Gangadhar, Ashok Mahadev Kumbar, Shahid Ahmed, Abdul Razak and Ningappa from Bagalkot, police said.

They resorted to printing and circulation of the fake currency after suffering loss in business, sources added.
