'Fifty Shades of Grey' to screen at Berlin Film Festival

'Fifty Shades of Grey', the much anticipated film adaptation of E L James' novel of the same name, is set for its international debut as the 'Berlinale Special Gala' at the upcoming 65th Berlin Film Festival.

Director Sam Taylor-Johnson, James, and lead actors of the film, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, will be present at the premier on February 11, 2015, reported Variety.

Dornan, 32, plays the role of Christian Grey in the film and Johnson, 25, will be seen in the character of Anastasia Steele.

Kelly Marcel wrote the screenplay and the film is produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti, alongside James.
 

The film is set to release on February 13, 2015.
