Fire broke out on the fifth
floor of a girls school in Bowbazar area in the central part of the city this afternoon, police said.
The fire that broke out on the fifth floor of the CMO Girls' High School on 11, Peter Lane at Bowbazar at around 2.10 PM, they said.
Two fire tenders doused the fire within half an hour, police said adding nobody was injured in it and the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
