Five bags of illegal explosive seized, two held

Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted the duo last night and recovered five bags of explosives meant for mining purpose from their possession, they said.

After the accused failed to show any valid documents regarding the explosives, they were placed under arrest.

Further probes are on into the case, they added.
