Five get life imprisonment for killing woman in Bihar

A local court today sentenced five persons to life imprisonment in a case pertaining to the murder of a woman in 1998.

The court of Jehanabad Additional District Judge (ADJ) OP Rai handed down life term to Kamaldeo Yadav, Baleshwar Yadav, Vijay Yadav, Tapeshwar Yadav and Vinay Yadav, residents of Rapura village under Kako police station, for attacking one Viranchi Devi and her two sons Virendra Yadav and Yogendra Yadav with sticks and sharp weapons on July 28, 1998.

While Viranchi died, her sons survived and lodged an FIR against the convicts.
