Five highway robbers arrested

Five members of a gang of alleged highway robbers were arrested and a stolen truck, a car and mobile phones seized from their possession, police said today.

On a tip off, Vijay Nagar police arrested the five highway robbers from the district last night, SSP Nitin Tiwari said.

During interrogation, the robbers admitted their involvement in more than a dozen cases of highway robber at Ghaziabad and adjoining districts, he said.
