Floor of chawl caves in

Four persons were rescued after the floor of a tenement in a chawl caved in, a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation official said.

The incident took place on the ground floor of Western India Chawl, Abhudaya Nagar, near Kalachowki around 7.40 PM.

None of the four persons was injured. Police and local people rescued them using ropes, the official said.
