Dense fog engulfed parts of Uttar Pradesh today with Fursatganj recording a minimum temperature of 3.7 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the state.
Night temperatures remained below normal in Gorakhpur, Faizabad, Lucknow, Bareilly, Varanasi, Kanpur and Moradabad divisions, the MeT office said.
The weatherman forecast cold weather conditions and shallow to moderate fog in different parts of the state over the next two days.
