Four persons were today killed and five others injured in separate mishaps amid foggy conditions in UP.
Jitendra (32) and his wife Kusum (28) were killed when their car was hit by a truck in Kakori area this morning while in Malihabad area two unidentified persons were killed and five others injured when a truck hit a mini truck, police said.
The MET department said shallow to moderate fog was witnessed at most places in the state in the past 24 hours.
Hamirpur district was the coldest with the minimum temperature settling at 8.2 degrees Celsius.
The MeT department has forecast dry weather with shallow to moderate fog at most places during mornings and nights in the state.
