Forest officials raid astrologer's office

A team of forest department officials have seized articles made from animals, used in black magic practice, from the office of an astrologer at sector 18 here.

DFO H B Girish said the documents and materials recovered from eight computers at the office indicated that the accused was a part of an international smuggling racket.

He said the items made from parts of marine animals were also seized which were used in practice of black magic.

In a raid carried out following a tip off, the astrologer identified as Kallikrishnan was apprehended along with another person.

Further probe is underway.
