Former KFA President passes away

He was 86 and is survived by wife, daughter and two sons.

Abdulla held various posts at the national level and served as vice president of All India Football Federation for eight years.

He was KFA president from 1973-78 and again from 1986-1994.

Kerala won the Santosh Trophy for the first time in 1973 when he was the president.

He was involved in various business ventures and was Managing Director, Alliance Packagings Private Ltd. He was a member of the Rubber Board for eight years, Director of the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation and President, Indira Gandhi Co-op Hospital, Ernakulam.

 

He was also president of All Kerala Private College Management Association, Muslim Educational Society among others and also served as senate member of Kerala and Calicut Universities.
