Girl charred to death as fridge bursts into flames

A 13-year-old girl was charred to death when the refrigerator at home burst into flames, police said.

The girl had opened the fridge at her home in Attur when it burst into flames.

The house was also damaged in the incident.

Police said the parents and her two brothers were not at home when the incident occurred.

A case has been registered.
