Girl dies after being hit by vehicle

A six-year-old girl was killed when an unidentified vehicle hit her on tonk road in the city.

The victim, named Payal, belonged to a nomadic family and used to live on the footpath near B-2 bypass.

Last night, a speeding vehicle hit her when she stood near the footpath, police said today.

She was rushed to Jaipuria government hospital where the doctors declared her dead.

"The matter is being investigated," the police said.
