Girl killed, 25 injured as bus falls off bridge

A young girl was killed and several other passengers injured when a private bus fell into a river at nearby Attingal today.

The mishap occurred when the driver lost control and the bus fell into the shallow part of the river from a bridge, police said.

One girl died and at least 25 persons were rushed to two hospitals here, they said quoting initial reports.

The bus was on its way from Mangalapuram to Attingal.
