Singapore-based Global Gene Corporation has announced a tie up with home healthcare provider Portea Medical to provide genetic testing solutions to Indians in their homes.
Commenting on the tie up, Global Gene Corporation (GCC) Executive Chairman Sumit Jamuar said: "Our tie-up with Portea Medical, pioneers in home healthcare in India, opens up another strategic avenue to reach out to Indian customers and patients."
The testing service is now available in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. It will be scaled up to 50 cities across India over the next 18-24 months, the companies said in a statement.

Portea Medical clinicians handle more than 20,000 home visits each month across the 18 cities in which the company currently operates.
