Gram, its dal weaken on subdued demand

Barring a fall in gram and its dal prices on sluggish demand, other pulses held steady on the wholesale grains market today.

Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in gram and its dal prices.

In the national capital, gram shed Rs 50 at Rs 2700-3400, while its dal local and best quality traded lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,400-3,600 and Rs 3,500-3,600 per quintal respectively.

Urad 5,200-5,700, Urad Chilka (local) 6,450-6,650, best 6,700-7,300, Dhoya 6,950-7,350, Moong 5,500-6,800, Dal Moong Chilka local 6,750-7,250, Moong Dhoya local 6,650-6,950 and best quality 7,450-7,550.
