A 45-year-old gram pradhan of a village was shot at outside his house by two bike-borne men in Rajapur Naugawa village here, police said today.
Jagdish Sharma, SP (Rural) said Kamil was injured yesterday and was shifted to the district hospital by his family and villagers. He was later referred to a speciality hospital.
A case has been registered against unidentified persons following a complaint by Kamil's son Farman, Sharma said.
