Prices of groundnut and mustard oils declined by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on slackened demand.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to move in a narrow range in the absence of worthwhile activity, and settled around previous levels.
Traders said slackened demand against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in groundnut and mustard oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) and mustard expeller (Dadri) oils declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 7,250 and Rs 6,950 per quintal, respectively.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,250, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,900-1,950, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 6,950, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 10,000, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,400, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,200, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,700, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,200, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,700, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,350, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,900-1,950.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,400, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,400-9,500, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,150-3,250 and Palm Fatty 3,200-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
