Groundnut oil dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to poor demand from stockists and retailers.
While, refined palmolein and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any major buying activity.
Castorseed bold and castoroil commercial maintained its downtrend following subdued demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil slipped by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 920 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 930 and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 520 per 10 kg.
Moving to the non-edible section, castorseeds bold declined by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 2,950 as compared to yesterday's closing level of Rs 2,975 and castoroil commercial slid by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 620 as against to Rs 625 previously.
Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 840 per 10 kg.
