Gur prices remain flat in thin trading

Gur prices remained flat at the wholesale market in the national capital today following scattered buying support.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended steady on some support.

Marketmen said adequate stocks position against some demand mainly kept prices unaltered.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):

Gur chakku 2,350-2,450, pedi 2,450-2,500, dhayya 2,600-2,700 and shakkar 2,800-2,900.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,100-2,200, chakku 2,125-2,300, khurpa 2,000-2,100 and Ladoo 2,100-2,200.

Muradnagar: Pedi 2,050-2,100 and dhayya 2,150-2,200.
