'Gutkha' worth Rs 4 lakh seized in Andhra Pradesh

'Gutkha' worth Rs 4 lakh was today seized from Kanchikacherla village in the Krishna district and four persons have been detained, police said.

"We raided a godown and seized 40 bags of 'gutkha', worth Rs 4 lakh", sub-inspector of Kachikacherla police station K Eswara Rao said.

Four persons, including the owner of the godown, have been detained. A case has been registered in this regard, the officer said, adding a probe was underway.
