A half-eaten body of an unidentified man was found today in the Motichoor range of Rajaji Tiger Reserve (RTR), an official said.
This was fifteenth such case in three years, he added.
"Prima facie the victim aged around 35 years seems to have been killed by a man-eater leopard," Director, RTR, Sanatan Sonkar said.
The body was in a half-eaten state, he said adding that the man was the leopard's 15th victim in three years.
Sonkar said an operation to trace the leopard has been launched in the area under his leadership.
