A Haridwar-based spiritual organisation today cleaned the Har Ki Pauri, railway platforms and the connecting roads garbage littered by 'kanwariyas'.
The clean-up exercise undertaken by Gayatri Parivar began at 7 am and went on throughout the day with thousands of its volunteers participating in it, a spokesman said.
Kanwariyas had left the entire area from Har ki Pauri to the railway station in a mess littering it with used clothes and polythene, he said.
