The Kerala High Court today directed police not to arrest Bangalore-based businessman M K Kuruvilla in connection with Pan Asia Forx cases.

The order in this regard was issued by justice V K Mohanan.

The court also permitted Kuruvilla to amend the petition to incorporate prayer for CBI probe into his complaint against the office of Chief Minister and his relatives in connection with the solar scam.

While the matter was being considered, counsel for Kuruvilla complained that after filing of the petition, he was arrested in 6 cases and was put in prison for a month.

The counsel said his client had no connection with a company against which allegations of cheating in the solar panel scam had been raised.

Considering this aspect, court interdicted further arrest for one month.

Meanwhile, Advocate General K P Dandapani, informed the court that the investigation on the complaint of Kuruvilla has been handed over to crime branch and to close the proceedings in the writ petition.

However, the court did not allow the plea and allowed Kuruvilla to amend the petition.
