A 40-year-old man was set ablaze by some unidentified persons following a dispute over issues related to debts, police said today.
According to the police, Satish, who worked with a private finance company and lived with his family in Ambedkar Nagar area of South-East Delhi, was burnt alive by the unidentified men last night.
The victim suffered severe burn injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital after the incident where he succumbed today, said a senior police official.

Police had registered a case under section 307 (Attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) after a complaint of the victim's family yesterday but today the complaint was converted into a case of murder, police said.
Police have launched efforts to apprehend those who set Satish on fire. Several people have been questioned in connection with the incident, police said.
