A Head Constable of the Armed Reserve Police was detained in an inebriated condition today for allegedly eve-teasing students, police said here.
Locals thrashed the man after they reportedly caught him misbehaving with girls of a college near a police station.
Some passersby informed police who rushed to the spot and detained him for outraging modesty of the students.
Police said higher officials have been informed about the incident.
