Heat wave continues in Raj, Churu hottest at 47

Churu was today the hottest place in Rajasthan as the mercury inched close to 47 degree Celsius.

Sriganganagar, Pilani, Kota, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur recorded maximum of 46, 45.5, 45, 44.8, 44.2 and 40.9 degree Celsius respectively, the MeT office here said.

The weather conditions are likely to remain the same during next 24 hours.
