The Met deparment today forecast heavy rain at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal while thunderstorms are likely to occur in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal.
The Sub-Himalayan districts are likely to receive heavy rainfall at isolated places till tomorrow after which the monsoon in the region is likely to go for a pause over the next three days, the weatherman said.

The Met department has forecast a cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain in the metropolis, which remained dry and humid during the day.
There was scant or no rainfall in different parts of the state in 24 hours till 8.30 am today.
