Heavy rains in Jammu city played a spoil sport and disrupted Yoga Day celebrations led by Union minister Jitendra Singh today at MAM stadium here.
Heavy rains lashed Jammu when the yoga celebrations attended by hundreds of people were underway.
The rains caused flash floods as a canal near the venue burst, submerging scores of vehicles in the parking area.
The pandal where Singh and other VIPs were performing asanas broke down due to strong winds ahead of the rains.
"No incident of causality was reported," a police officer said.
