Heavy showers lash parts of Himachal Pradesh

Maximum temperature dropped by six degrees to settle at 26 deg C in Shimla as rains lashed the state capital.
Elsewhere, Bhuntar recorded a high of 35.6 deg C against yesterday's 38.2 deg C, while it was 39 deg C in Paonta.
The maximum temperature dropped from 38 deg C to 31.8 deg C in Nahan, while Sundernagar recorded a high of 34 deg against yesterday's 40.5 deg C, MeT officials said.
