Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 18 per cent growth in total sales for December 2014 at 3,48,737 units as against 2,96,243 units in corresponding month of 2013.
Motorcycle sales rose 5.15 per cent to 1,21,489 units last month as against 1,15,537 units in December 2013, HMSI said in a statement.
The company's scooter sales jumped by 24.73 per cent to 2,08,490 units from 1,67,147 units in December 2013, it added.
HMSI's exports rose 38.34 per cent to 18,758 units as against 13,559 units in the same month a year ago.
