Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has condoled the death of veteran Congress leader and former union minister V C Shukla in a private hospital in Gurgaon today.
In a condolence message, he described Shukla as an able parliamentarian and a statesman who would be long remembered for his qualities of head and heart.
The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
84-year-old Shukla died today in a Gurgaon hospital after battling injuries sustained in a deadly Naxal attack on a convoy of party leaders a fortnight ago.
