Hot and sultry conditions today prevailed throughout the day in the national capital although the mercury was below the normal level.
The day temperature was recorded at 35.5 deg C, which was significantly up from yesterday's 32.1 deg C but two notches below normal for this part of the season.
Minimum temperature too remained three degrees below normal, settling at 24.8 degree C, which was nominally up from previous day's 23.5 deg C.

The weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky tomorrow. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 37 deg C and 26 deg C respectively.
