The Rajahmundry unit of national explorer, ONGC has provided 10,000 food packets and water bottles for the people affected by cyclone Hudhud which has caused massive damage in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh.
"In the wake of Hudhud cyclone that hit the east coast of Andhra Pradesh, ONGC's Rajahmundry unit has swung into action to revitalise the lives of those affected. Being a responsible enterprise, the unit has provided aid worth Rs 8 lakh in the form of 10,000 food packets and water bottles," a company release said today.
R K Sharma, GM, HR today handed over the food material to Rajahmundry Urban Mandal Revenue Officer Gopalakrishna for the onward distribution in the cyclone-hit regions.
