Husband, in-laws kill woman for dowry

A 23-year-old woman was killed allegedly by her husband and in-laws for dowry in Mirapur village, police said today.

"The victim identified as Anita was poisoned yesterday by her husband and in-laws for dowry," Station Incharge Ramsiya Maurya said.

A case has been lodged against the husband Omendra and in-laws in this connection, he said.

The accused are absconding and efforts are on to nab them, police said.
