I failed driving test because of mother: Ed Sheeran

Singer Ed Sheeran says he failed his first driving test because his mother called him in the middle of the exam.

The 26-year-old singing sensation reveals the only reason he did not clear his test on a very first attempt was because his mother telephoned him and the star decided to break the law and answer her call whilst driving, reported Femalefirst.

Speaking on Magic Radio, the "Castle on the Hill" hitmaker says, "I had my phone in the car, and as I was going round a roundabout my mum rang me to see if I passed my test, and instead of ignoring it I picked it up and said 'sorry mum I'm doing my driving test.
