Actor Idris Elba has said he wants to go into space.
The "Luther" actor fulfilled a long-held ambition when he trained to be a professional kickboxer for documentary series "Idris Elba: Fighter" and now hopes the Discovery Channel will also fund another of his boyhood dreams - to become an astronaut, reported Contactmusic.
Asked what he wants to try next, he said, "To be a spaceman. If Discovery will pay for it then I'll go into space."
The 44-year-old star is currently filming "The Mountain Between Us" with Kate Winslet and thinks his fight training has inspired the Oscar-winning actress to push herself more.
"I think my current co-star is quite impressed actually and has decided to take up Pilates pretty heavily.
