The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today announced a collaboration with the ministry of electronics and information technology for preparing e-governance training videos.

The decision to partner with the ministry's National e-Governance Division (NeGD) and Common Services Network was announced after the varsity's Vice Chancellor Ravindra Kumar hoisted the national flag on the 71st Independence Day today.

"IGNOU will be able to collaborate with NeGD to prepare e-governance training videos. NeGD will be providing all the technical assistance required," Kumar said in a release.

On the occasion, the VC also launched a digital newsletter of the varsity called 'IGNOU Digi News' which will be distributed to students, staff members and academia among others.
