The pavilion of the Ministry of Power was adjudged the best followed by that of the Ministry of Health at the 33rd India International Trade Fair (IITF) which concluded here today.
The Power Pavilion of Ministry of Power was awarded gold medal for best display on the theme "Powering Inclusive Growth" under the Ministry category.
The Health Pavilion of ministry of Health and Family Welfare received the silver medal for the second best display on the theme "Health with Equity".
Besides women and health issues, the Health Pavilion highlighted schemes and programmes launched by the Ministry for the welfare of people, which included the Janani Shishu Suraksha Yojana, Bal Swasth Suraksha Karyakram and Nutrition and immunisation programmes.
Minister of New and Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah gave away the awards to the winners in various categories for display, design and aesthetics of presentation.
