Top bike riders of the country would be taking part in the inaugural Gulf Supercross which is to be held in Nasik's Kute's Supercross Track at Pathardi-Gaulane road later this month.
The event would be a test of riding and handling of the bike at high speed and also demand perfect balancing and concentration as the riders go through an exercise that involves jumps and negotiating sharp bends under dirt terrain.
The riders will be given a mass start and the first to the finish after the stipulated laps in the moto is adjudged winner, a media release from Mumbai-based event organisers Sportscraft said.

So far, 55 entries have been received from riders in Nashik, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Jaipur and Aurangabad and more are expected before the event to be held on February 22 and 23.
The winners of the event will be getting prize-money worth Rs 1.5 lakh as well as trophies.
Bangalore-based TVS riders R Natraj, Pramod Joshua, Arvind K P, Harith Noah and S Madhu are the main contenders in the glamour classes of the event - the Indian Expert Foreign Class motorcycles upto 500cc, 2 and 4 stroke and Private Foreign bikes up to 260cc, 2 and 4 stroke.
Some new challengers, like Ganesh Lokhande, Vineeth Kurup, Mansingh Thakur and Kaustubh Machhe, and Mumbai's Kannan Naidu, Kshitij Shukla and Jagit Singh, could throw up a few surprises.
The event is being organised in association with Nashik Automotive Sports Association (NASA).
A maximum of 25 entries per classification would be accepted on first come basis and the closing date of entries is February 18, the release added.
