Iqbal Khanday promoted as J&K's Financial Commissioner

The state cabinet, which met here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, today promoted Principal Secretary (Finance) Mohammad Iqbal Khanday to the post of Financial Commissioner, Finance Department, an official spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, Commissioner Secretary of Social Welfare, Jeet Lal Gupta, has been given additional charge of Housing and Urban Development Department till Principal Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Department, Suresh Kumar, currently abroad for training, resumes his duties.
