Jharkhand Assembly today paid rich tributes to the soldiers, who died in the recent Siachen Glacier avalanche, Pathankot attack and other notable personalities who passed away recently.
"We bow to these martyrs who laid their lives in protecting the country," Speaker Dinesh Oraon said in his obituary reference on the opening day of the Budget session.
The House also paid tributes to Raghunandan Mandal, who passed away on January 3 this year. He had won the Godda seat in 2014 Assembly elections as a BJP candidate.

Tributes were also paid to some other known figures and victims of accidents.
