The Steel city of Jamshedpur today recorded a maximum temperature of above 40 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature recorded was 43 degree Celsius, which was six notches above normal, while the minimum temperature was 22.8 degree Celsius, also two notches above normal temperature, MeT office sources said.
Yesterday Jamshedpur had recorded a maximum temperature of 43.3 degree Celsius which was the highest temperature recorded in the month of March in the last six years, the sources said.
