Jawan injured in mine blast

An Army jawan was injured in a mine blast in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir today.

Naik Dhana Ram of 3rd Grenadier was seriously injured when a mine exploded during patrolling in Nangi Tikri area of Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district, officials said.

Initially he was referred to Rajouri hospital and later airlifted to Command Hospital at Udhampur for specialised treatment, they said.
