Model-actress Jenny McCarthy has heaped praise on new partner Donnie Wahlberg, insisting only someone as great as him could make her end her single days.
The pair hit it off after the pop star appeared on McCarthy's Vh1 show in March, reported People magazine.
They have been dating seriously since July, and the blonde beauty reveals she wouldn't have jumped into a new relationship if her new beau hadn't been so impressive.
"If every relationship leads you to the next person and it leads you to what you want and what you don't want, I feel like I deserve great and he's great," McCarthy said.
"It's new. I took a year off (from dating) but I said if I meet someone who makes me stop that year off, it's someone who I need to pay attention to," she added.
McCarthy has dated Jim Carrey and American football star Brian Urlacher since the end of her marriage to John Asher in 2005, while Wahlberg's nine-year marriage to Kim Fey ended in divorce in 2008.
