Jharkhand police to get 17,000 new personnel: DGP

Jharkhand police department would recruit as many as 17,000 personnel, DGP Rajiv Kumar said today.

"17,000 police personnel will be recruited soon to make the police stronger in the state," Kumar told reporters.

The recruitment process would be made as per the guidelines of the Centre's Transparent Recruitment Policy, the DGP, who was here to address the newly appointed Dy SPs, now undergoing training at the Police Academy here said today.
