JK govt okays inclusion of 45 villages in backward areas list

The Jammu and Kashmir government today approved inclusion of 45 villages in different districts in the state in the list of backward areas.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the state Cabinet, presided over by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, here.
The decision was in line with the recommendation of the J and K Commission for Backward Classes, an official spokesman said.
