Karnataka would appeal against the Mahadayi River Water Tribunal's verdict on the inter-state water dispute, state's Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar said Wednesday.
He said the government was consulting legal and technical experts on how to go about it and an all-party meet would soon be convened to discuss the further course of action.
He said the government has decided to go before the Supreme Court and the tribunal again for a review.
Claiming that Karnataka did not got justice in the judgment, he said the government would prepare a comprehensive report on all projects and was preparing to file an special leave petition.
The tribunal had in August ruled that Karnataka would get 13.5 TMC of water from the river, while the other two riparian states, Goa and Maharashtra, would be allowed 24 TMC and 1.33 TMC, respectively.

He was speaking to reporters on his way to Kankumbi in Belagavi district bordering Goa.
Shivakumar said he would hold discussions with the technical and legal teams after visiting the spot.
"We will also call an all-party meeting on the issue," he said.
Karnataka had demanded 36.558 TMC of water from the Mahadayi.
Meanwhile, he rejected the suggestion that there were any difference in the Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition or within the Congress.
"It is your (media's) assumption, he replied to a question. All is well, all is good, and all is fine."
The Congress was recently hit by dissent, with some party leaders openly expressing discontent over issues concerning the party and the functioning of the coalition government.
