Actress-comedienne Kathy Griffin has shaved her head to show solidarity with her sister, Joyce Griffin, who is fighting cancer.
The 56-year-old star's sister is currently undergoing chemotherapy, reported People magazine.
In a series of images surfaced on social media, Kathy can be seen smiling and patting her bald head after her big buzz- cut.
In another photo, Kathy sits beside her mother, Maggie Griffin, who covers her mouth in surprise after seeing special gesture the actress did for Joyce.
Maggie later took to Twitter to say Kathy was a "wonderful human being".
